Folsom Veteran's Memorial

A joint venture with Acanthus Studio, we proposed a plan to integrate low voltage lighting into the flag walk, as opposed to 240v or 277v fixtures. The end result is more efficient and has a lower cost to install and maintain. With this multi-use area, safety and vandal-resistance were key, making these in-grade fixtures ideal. We also installed the flag poles. Much of the time and materials on this project were donated.

Garfield Avenue

This Carmichael home with year-round creek has wonderful blue oaks and specimen Japanese maples. A great yard for entertaining, it has hosted multiple weddings and anniversary parties for friends and family. The lighting is understated, except that big oak off the deck!

Hidden Oaks

This project started as a service call to repair some lights that stopped functioning. A melted wire splice and other wiring maladies installed by another landscape contractor led to a total system rewire and design. The yard has a Zen feel, with oaks and redwoods shading the ferns and walkways. At night, the space is magical.

Las Pasas Way

A medium-sized yard with pool. Great depth of color and use of attractive hardscape and plant materials made this backyard a joy to light. The yard is perfect for entertaining, with several useable seating/gathering areas. The lighting was designed to make the space inviting at night, pulling guests out to the back seating area.
